Saahir and Jamila Jenkins are the Lead Pastors of the Encounter LIFE Church. Saahir serves as Senior Pastor and Jamila the Executive Pastor. Prior to pursuing the launch of TELC, they faithfully served in a variety of leadership roles. Their Kingdom-centered influence spans more than 30 years. Their approach to ministry, business, and life is shaped by Scripture and aims to glorify GOD always.

They are both gifted orators, teachers, writers, and coaches of the Gospel. They’ve been called a “Hot Couple” for their uncanny mix of style and devotion to Godly service. God has given them a special affinity for marriages and an ever-burning passion for grooming marriages and families to be all that GOD desires.

 

Saahir and Jamila are certified Christian Life Coaches. They have launched their practice, the LIFT Company, through which GOD has charged them to point people toward triumph in every area of life through Christ-centered coaching and engagement.

 

Above all else, Saahir and Jamila have been entrusted with the care of their family. They have been purposefully engaged and happily married since August 7, 2004, and together share in the joy of raising four wonderful, well-adjusted humans: Elaine, Attiyyah, Jamal, and Noa Grace.
